    Pros

Good healthcare benefits, fair initial salary, paid parking or METRO pass, nice offices, good sick time policies. 6% 401k match, Long Term Incentive Plan for salaried employees. It's a stable paycheck.

    Cons

No career development, tiny merit raises, poor middle management, Rampant Good Ole Boy system, Limited opportunities outside of Houston. Poor communication with employees concerning vision or direction. Very top heavy company lots of directors and vp's. Too lean so way behind on everything. This company grew way too fast.

    Advice to Management

Plains has no company culture, don't be afraid to force change if necessary. Make career development a priority to retain people
