    Pros

Pay is better than most, higher ups are better than most but still have their moment.

    Cons

Not a lot of hours, a lot of down time, day goes by slowly.

    Advice to Management

Be friendlier. You may be older, but the employees are not toddlers. No need to patronize.

    Pros

Quick cash. Always able to pick up shifts.

    Cons

Very political. Empty promises for promotions. Very strict rules.

    Advice to Management

Value hard work as much as sales when evaluating employees.

    Pros

Planet Hollywood stays busy for the majority of the year. Employee incentives are given out weekly for highest glassware sales. Every four months a glassware contest begins, when the contest ends the highest selling server and bartender win a free flight to Las Vegas including a four night stay at a hotel located near the strip. Managers for the most part are down to earth and friendly. Coworkers are great to get along with.

    Cons

The majority of the guests are from overseas, which leads to their lack of tipping knowledge we have here in the states. PH no longer has automatic gratuity, even on parties of 6 or more.Servers are getting zero tips on $400 checks, not saying it happens all the time but it does happen. Weekly hours have been reduced to no more than 30 hours a week. Staggered daily in-times, the night before every shift a text is sent out with floor in-times. For the most part its only a couple hours.

    Advice to Management

    Bring back Gratuity

  7. Planet Hollywood was an ok place to work if you have thick skin to deal with arrogant, disrespectful managers; who seem to try and provoke a reaction out of you so they will have a reason to fire you.

    Pros

Good working conditkons. Employees wdre really nice; even though some seem overly polite. The benefits package, as well as the perks are absolutely fantastic.

    Cons

Very disrespectful managers. The starting pay is absolutely horrible. The diversity is absolutely nonexsistant within senior management. The politcs within this company is totally astounding.

    Advice to Management

    Hire more culurally sensitive management.

    Pros

Some of the greatest people I've ever worked with. A very large company that is able to take care of their guests.

    Cons

Terrible management, Unfair pay, Required you to kiss butt, Expects you to drop everything to help them but refuses to help you in return, Cheap owner, Full-time is now reduced to 30 hours (if even) because the owner refuses to pay for Obamacare.
