Horrible managers aka itch managers sending employees to tell other employees what they're doing wrong! You're a manager DO WHAT THEY PAY YOU FOR! stand long hours

    Advice to Management

Be better leaders and look happier it's not our fault you are working minimum wage and working till about 3! Find a better job if you're miserable

    Pros

Awesome company with great benefits. Employee meals for management and discounted meals for hourly employees

    Cons

Tourist driven company so when it's in between summer break, winter break, and spring break it's generally slow.

    Advice to Management

Try to stay away from doing things "too corporate" adjust to your stores business needs.

I worked at Planet Hollywood full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with. I felt, I knew most everyone.

    Cons

A small team run with large corporate politics which bring it down. In the end, you're only a drop in the bucket and will be forgotten soon after leaving.

    Advice to Management

Stand up for those you believe in and coach rather than manage. Team leaders are people to share things with and look up to, whereas supervisors and managers are those to be avoided.

I worked at Planet Hollywood full-time

    Pros

There is a sense of family there. The other employees are great.

    Cons

In Myrtle Beach, the season ends abruptly in August. It is only a summer job.

  7. Host

I worked at Planet Hollywood full-time

    Pros

Very friendly team, fun place to work, good management and brilliant flexibility with working hours

    Cons

One of the main cons I suppose is the incredibly hectic environment during high season. Be prepared to work under pressures as waits for a table can exceed two hours.

    Advice to Management

No real advice to give. Management were friendly and approachable. They were always available to speak with employees if there were any issues.

I have been working at Planet Hollywood part-time

    Pros

Pay is better than most, higher ups are better than most but still have their moment.

    Cons

Not a lot of hours, a lot of down time, day goes by slowly.

    Advice to Management

Be friendlier. You may be older, but the employees are not toddlers. No need to patronize.

    Pros

Quick cash. Always able to pick up shifts.

    Cons

Very political. Empty promises for promotions. Very strict rules.

    Advice to Management

Value hard work as much as sales when evaluating employees.
