    Work from anywhere
    Good coworkers, benefits

    Cons

    People have been parked in their jobs too long -- stagnation, no new ideas. Intense politics at some levels. Could use a nice sweep in mid-level management. Siloed culture.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to the employees. Find out what really goes on under the covers. Look at who manages through fear and clean house.

    Pros

    Nice work environment as in it's modern.
    Good cafe.
    Receptionist Terri. Great lady.

    Cons

    Many overworked people who are stressed out.
    Communication problems.
    Pay is in lower side.

    Advice to Management

    Laying people off at Christmas...really heartless.

    Pros

    Small local company, great location, relaxed culture, flexible work environment

    Cons

    Outsourcing our jobs to Mexico!!! Upper managements decisions are destroying this gem in Santa Cruz!

    Bring back our jobs to the USA!

    Sterke VS gebaseerd bedrijf en cultuur. Producten met een lange geschiedenis van kwaliteit en overeenkomst qua stevigheid door de hele VS organisatie. Platte organisatie voor direct contact met het topmanagement

    Strong US based company and culture. Products with long history of quality and resemblence of sturdiness throughout the US organisation. Flat organisation for direct contact to top management

    VS gebaseerd bedrijf wat betekent dat de EMEA organisatie en gedrag flink afwijkt van de VS wat betreft consistentie. Mensen zijn niet toegewijd aan hun baan, het middenkader is onverschillig en een verschrikkelijk verlies wat betreft controle van financiën, logistiek en kanaalmanagement, grijze markten zijn al tijden de bedrijfsstrategie.

    US based company - which means that the EMEA organisation and behaviour differs a lot in consistency from the US. People are not committed to their job, middle management are indifferent and an insame loss of control of financel, logistics and channel management grey markets has been the waqy of the business for ages.

    Advice to Management

    Opruimen van het kanaalmanagement van klantgedrag en het rechtzetten van interne miscommunicatie tussen het middenkader. Ontsla de Top-3 honden in EMEA - zij voegen geen enkele waarde toe in verhouding tot hun imposante loonstrookjes!

    Clean up you channel management of customer behaviour and straighten out internal mis-communications between middle management. Get rid of the Top-3 dogs in EMEA - they dont apply ANY value vs there imposive paychecks!

    Pros

    -location, nice to drive to the beach for lunch
    -good discounts on products
    -good people to work with

    Cons

    -unclear management goals (top-down communication is poor)
    -ever changing priorities
    -confusing bonus structure
    -mistrust among employees toward management

    Advice to Management

    Better communication with the entire organization would be helpful. Product road maps and sharing of launch schedule would help everyone do their job better and feel as if they have a personal stake in what they are doing. A clearer bonus structure would help with the mistrust created between employees and managers. Taking the bonuses away would be better that what seems like this double talk we get.

    Pros

    Great location, nice people in the trenches, nice office space if not a little old fashioned.

    Cons

    Senior management at the executive level is out of touch with the real employees. Human resources management is a joke. A complete overhaul of the building for everyone to sit in an open environment at the urging of the new VP of HR and she still sits in her own office. The only people who seem to be in the HR department consistantly are the recruiters. Finance or rather the CFO has too much time on her hands. Seems to micromanage the entire company. Salaries are not competitive with other companies. The ability to get promoted is nil. Sad really because there are a lot of people who deserve to be recognized and rewarded.

    Pros

    Food is good at cafe, people are nice, and you get three free headsets if you're hired as an associate.

    Cons

    There are not that many days off and the location isn't in the most ideal place. Would be hard to commute from San Jose

    Pros

    Great work/life balance with remote working opportunities; well established Brand and feeling of stability.

    Cons

    Typical internal politics, the pay is less than average for the area, considering the surrounding Silicon Valley companies and room for growth is very minimal. If you are looking to grow professionally and increase your level of responsibility within the company- look elsewhere.

    Pros

    Nice people creates a positive culture, high quality products, strong enterprise and call center business, quarterly earnings management, 7 minutes to the beach.

    Cons

    Little appetite for change, biggest risk to company is being too risk averse, unable to keep pace with the industry, quarterly earnings takes away from its focus on the future, questionable ability and limited patience to create and execute to a long term vision.
