    Negative Outlook

I worked at Plastikon Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's very difficult to say the positives. For one, the company will let you retain your own foul personality if you want. You get to interact with your customer directly (which could be a Con). Reviews (when done) are usually a decent percentage of your salary if you are in a position that is barely filled.

    Cons

Micro-managed Poorly organized (good luck finding legacy files), getting projects, documents, designs, anythings like that in a timely manner. Management is abusive towards its employees (think of worse than a bad restaurant manager, yelling, cursing, demeaning work. Actual physical labor for technical staff). No training. No further education. Lack of resources to complete a project. Long hours - work life balance means standing on one foot. 9-10 hour days expected in the office, with additional hours expected to be put in at home. Management cannot recognize employee value - will often support someone who is loud and wrong rather than someone correct and reserve. Poor benefits - they change insurance companies every year and each year the coverage gets worse. Company motto is to burn employees out and replace the ones that left with fresh employees. Typical turnover rate for technical staff is 10-15% a year at minimum!!! There are no managers for the specific departments as all of them have QUIT the company.

    Advice to Management

Would recommend to replace all of management, implement training program (outside the company), utilize a database system, regulate hours, hire help to do tedious tasks.
