    Pros

    Extremely flexible schedule
    Extensive training
Offer temporary, part time, and full time
    Fun environment and good coworkers
    Mobility
    Discount on clothes

    Cons

Some of the work can get tedious, especially if you're temporary and are stuck with hanging up clothes and tagging

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better training videos, and train employees to do new tasks more quickly so they're not stuck doing the same thing over and over for months

    Pros

This is an awesome first job that allows amazing clothing discounts, days that are never the same, and advancement opportunities!

    Cons

Customers can be extremely difficult, especially when you're unable to accept any of their items.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Nothing. Management is very understanding and flexible. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

I have been working at Plato's Closet part-time for more than a year

    Pros

the only thing good is your 30% discount and your co workers. were kind of like a family and we helpeachoter out when ever needed!

    Cons

was the worst job a person could ever have. late hours, didn't pay you the right amount, lack of management , and just plain laziness!
do not work here, you will regret it after the second week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

part of being a leader isn't just to demand and boss us around. its to help and form a team. if we had better management it wouldn't be so bad. stop hiding in your office and playing on your phones and standing at the front watching and come help sometimes.

I worked at Plato's Closet part-time for less than a year

    Pros

You can trade shifts to work when you want and get more hours when you need them, get a discount of 30%

    Cons

Can't return anything as an employee, lots of women working here so fights happen often, no respect for others, can't work full-time unless you are a manager, can't get discounts on everything, leads/managers didn't pay much attention to breaks- what employees get one and making sure they get it before their shift ends.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I'd consider having a meeting with your staff as a whole to discuss how you want your store to be ran and to address questions your employees may have so everyone's on the same page.

    I worked at Plato's Closet

    Pros

Flexible hours. Great for people going to school

    Cons

Challenging management. Expected high sales volume in a store that was in a bad location.

    I worked at Plato's Closet

    Pros

First pick on clothes coming into the store, can work with amazing coworkers, store owner was a very understanding person, I think depending on your store owner it can either make or break working at one of these stores since they're independently owned.

    Cons

Extremely demanding and cheap customers were always complaining about the store selection and buying process, they would also always hassle you to try to lower down prices over anything, our store in particular was an extremely stressful store to work at on the weekends. Too many responsibilities and expectations for a minimum wage job

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Raise minimum wage compensation for cashiers since we would be in charge of the floor, tagging, fitting rooms, and go-backs.
