“Not that great, but not the worst”
Former Employee – worked at Plaza Home Mortgage full-time for more than a year
Pros – Corporate training is wonderful! Product line is strong.
Cons – Benefits were not that great and the employee portion of insurance was extremely expensive for a company this large. Compensation is too low and management was very weak. Promises were always made but seldom kept.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to the sales force. They are the heart of your company. When there is a problem in underwriting, you must move fast to correct it or you will lose customers. Lastly, if you hire a new sales manager and then lose 3 sales reps within a month...there is a problem, you should step in and ask!
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
