    Pros

Great team and good people to work together.

    Cons

It's a country side town. If you can't live away from the city like Chicago, New York. You might find it boring.

    Advice to Management

Be active with the team and try to learn as much as you can while working with Plews.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Employees are from the surrounding area so they're in touch with local events, opinions, etc. Many have been lifelong residents. Small-town feel.

    Cons

The same small-town feel breeds small-town thinking and keeps out a lot of advancement unless you're already friends with someone there. Myopic and short-sighted management, rampant favoritism.

    Advice to Management

Listen to all of your stakeholders, not just the loudest ones. Overtime should be a last resort, not a production strategy.

    Pros

Great group of people to work with. A lot of talented, hard working individuals employed there. Salaries are comparable to surrrounding area. Employee committee does a great job of organizing fun events both at the work place and off site.

    Cons

The biggest downside to working at Plews is most of the departments are under staffed, over worked and employees spend a good portion of their day just being reactive to the problems this scenario is causing leaving them little time to be proactive in their jobs and cultivat the company initiatives.

    Advice to Management

Plews employees are by far your greatest asset. You would do well to Invest less in repaintng floors or remodeling which does nothing for growth of the company and more in freeing up this valuable resource.
