Great reputation with clients
Honest attempt to do the right thing for customers
Cons – Mono-culture - want to have DNA match for new hires
Becoming more and more corporate, sadly
Entrenched core set of people who have undue control
Advice to Senior Management – Larger is not always better
One size does not always fit all
Don't lose the 'special sauce' which made it a great place to work

I have been working at Point B
Pros – Great people to work with and the support for work/life balance is the best I've ever experienced.
Cons – Middle of the road compensation when considering no paid vacation or time off at all.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep going on the OEI - but consider the impact of any changes on pay. You may need to re-visit the comparison compensation models previously used to ensure attraction and retention of the best candidates and Associates.

Pros – No travel. Great culture. Great opportunities. Great people. Employee owned. We walk the walk and talk the talk. Great new vision statement. Voted best place to work!
Cons – It is consulting, so you have to be of the mindset of being a consultant!
Advice to Senior Management – Let's make sure that that as we continue to grow and evolve we do not lose sight of what our culture is.

-An amazing amount of autonomy is granted to associates - you decide when you take vacation, you decide if you want to do "extra" work
-Compensation based on results
Cons – Some growing pains as we become bigger (hard on associates who have been here a long time) and deliver on a wider breadth of services
Advice to Senior Management – N/A

I have been working at Point B
Pros – Point b is the "have your cake and eat it, too" consulting firm. You get the variety and excitement of consulting without the risk of forced out-of-town travel and your colleagues are simply top notch professionals.
Cons – Learning to navigate an extremely flat, peer based culture can be challenging when one comes from traditional large corporations or consultancies where either have more levels and (especially for traditional consultancies) there are pace-based career ladders. Once you "get it" it can be extremely liberating, and a new challenge. That said, if you really dig titles or having formal responsibility for the career development of others, these will be lacking in most folks roles.
Advice to Senior Management – keep up the good work; even though the firm is largely "west-coast" consider those of us further East and arrange training session classes to end earlier so that we can make the last flights back! This is usually the case, but it should be a formal and explicit part of event planning.
