    Pros

    Constantly striving to unite employees and encourage participation in monthly events. Actively promotes success using friendly competition.

    Cons

    Perhaps incorporate an interactive monthly meeting where employees are encourages to brainstorm ideas and listen to each other (i.e., team building).

    I have been working at PointClear (More than a year)

    Pros

    Training is on point. The director of training is really kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. She will really make you successful.

    Cons

    It is really boring at times. Upper management is very cold and have no emotional intelligence. They have preferred employees and can micromanage you very much.

    Pros

    PointClear offers the opportunity to learn "best practices" in lead generation compared to a "winging it" approach that most sales people employ. Lead generation, to provide sales-ready opportunities to a sales force, is different from selling and requires training and a metric-supported methodology. PointClear provides both. On the work/life balance, most managers came up through the ranks and know the pressures of the job. There are production quotas (eg. # of Dials) as well as Lead quotas, but their experience shows that the production metrics are the KPI's; reach those and the Leads will come. You can earn Free Fridays Off, quarterly incentive bonuses and other rewards. This is a good place for young people looking to gain skills they can use throughout their career as well as older professionals who are seeking a more comfortable transition out of the high-pressure corporate world.

    Cons

    PointClear has a numbers-proven methodology that has stood the test of time across many disparate industries. New employees have to be committed to learning the PointClear way and implementing it consistently. If you are not comfortable following a plan and taking specific direction, you will not last long at PointClear.

    Advice to Management

    Continue what you are doing; it seems to be working.

    After 90 days you can apply to work from home

    Cons

    The people are unhelpful and they believe the only way to do lead generation is by 1 persons point of view. In addition the position isn't what they leave you to believe

    Don't be so closed minded on other ways to generate leads

    Pros

    Great training program. The trainer there is the best with a lot of knowledge about inside sales.

    Cons

    Very little communication with the managers. Once they walk into the office, they close their doors behind them and you will never see them again. The management is very cold also.

    Good interim gig if you are in transition. The owner is a stand-up person who inspires by example.

    Pros

    Although a smaller-sized company, everyone seems to enjoy working with fellow co-workers which leads to minimal office drama - a hard-to-find in many small southern companies. The managerial staff is very accommodating in regards to work schedule and taking vacation. In addition, the work-life balance is well appreciated as PointClear prides itself on understanding that many of its employees have other responsibilities (e.g., children, spouses, etc.). Very nice senior management whom make themselves available to employees with questions and concerns. Full benefits are provided to employees after a certain time with the company, and easy opt-out available for those not interested.

    Minimal company events and contests

    Advice to Management

    Company events seem to be forgotten with the constant hustle of what we do, it would be nice to have more so that associates are able to get to know their co-workers on a personal level, as well as provide them with the opportunity to get to know senior management in a more casual atmosphere.

    I worked at PointClear full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The majority of my time at Pointclear was spent selling Health Care solutions, which afforded me the opportunity to learn about the real life impact of the Affordable Care Act. The complexity of the solution required that I call on CIO, CFO, and CEO, I talked to more C level executives on these programs than I had in my entire 15+ year sales career, which gave me a lot of confidence. The fellow BDM were great to work with, I have made a few life long friends. It was a relaxed atmosphere, and all the training you could ever want. Management was very flexible and accommodating for a great work life balance.

    Cons

    Having to make 80+ calls a day is a challenge that requires you to stay focused and disciplined. compensation was on the low end.

    Advice to Management

    Involve BDM in the decisions on which programs they are placed on.
