    I worked at Polaris FT

    Pros

Great atmosphere to meet some wonderful people. Community is very tight and they welcome you very quickly.

    Cons

The work can sometimes too slow and tedious. This can be nice but at other times very boring.

    Advice to Management

Management was often engaged elsewhere so maybe stay around and talk to employees more

    Pros

Good recognition for hard working folks, can learn financial domain entities.

    Cons

Unable to retain talent, salary not competitive with market standards.

    Advice to Management

More trainings required on cutting edge technologies and they should build good rapport with client.

    Pros

    Nice people to work with

    Cons

The Company does not support their consultants, and throw them under the bus. The value of the company is a 30% profit margin.. They will use inferior resources overseas to pad profit margins. Once your contract is up... You are gone. No additional opportunities. Consultant handles all expenses and then when the client severs relationship. the comsultant is left without a home, and the bills.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest that management learns that being a body shop is the quickest way to lose market growth

    Pros

Decent client base , project variety , competitive pay etc

    Cons

This company is not suitable for women . Highly biased towards men . Women are treated as HR/admin workers, or glorified baits for sales meetings . Women in management are rare onsite, and if there are a few , they are expected to look pretty and dress provocatively during customer meetings . HR team is powerless and the men in senior management are crude and crack double meaning jokes in presence of women associates . It is humiliating and degrading to women employees .

    Advice to Management

Try and implement HR policies to protect women in the organization . The CEO is from Infosys and some of the women encouraging policies of Infosys can be implemented here .
