    Pros

PolyOne has excellent benefits and incentive structure. They have deep pockets and lots of resources for growth and development. Their commitment to ethical business practices make it easy to maintain your integrity.

    Cons

It is sometimes difficult to marshal the internal resources. The expectation is to be traveling 25-50% of the time. This can put a strain on family life if not carefully managed. The training program for hires new to the industry is still maturing.

    Pros

Work from home, nationwide coverage, commercial role that allows for travel and provides the opportunity to work with varying levels of companies.

    Cons

Isolated on a small team, all working from different parts of the country from home. No team feel and no true guidance from management.

    Advice to Management

Build us up and bring us together as a team. Create a team atmosphere, rather than an isolated one.

    Cons

company told me they could no longer employ me, offered a severence package, then refused to give the severance package they offered....because they offered a job to other employees
and several employees quit...so then they decided to offer me the job....different shift, and a pay cut.....they also refused to honor a bonus due from the previous yr.

    Advice to Management

treat people like they are important and stand by offers you promise to people

    Pros

There are unlimited opportunities available to motivated employees. Safety is the number one priority and it is not a company that just says that, they really have that mentality.

    Cons

I do not have any complaints because your environment is what you make it and if I do not have a solutions to offer then I do not complain.

    Advice to Management

Never stop improving and always fight the "that is how we have always done it" mentality. Stay positive with employees and encourage them to learn and educate themselves in all areas of the business.

    Pros

Growing company, diversified products, gain of experience, a lot of good/great people, fast pace, good compensations.

    Cons

Not much mobility, lack of methodology and consistency in the processes, very compartmentalized structure. Relatively limited team work, inefficient communication. Limited employee/management training.

    Advice to Management

Slow down and fortify the company's procedures before growing too quickly by acquisition. Fully integrate acquisition. Less management, more leadership.

Hire more young employees. The age gap is pretty large between the older sellers and the younger sellers.
