Current Employee – been working at Position2
Pros – Freedom to do some good work (limited by senior management myopia).
Lots of good-natured and talented people lower down the food chain, hanging on, hoping things will improve.
Cons – - No long term goals, no long term planning
- No visibility on anything longer than a couple of months.
- Abrasive know-it-alls in the US with extremely poor listening skills and large egos
- Constantly changing tactics with no strategy in mind.
- "Constant Crisis" style of management
- Work life balance? hah! Management doesn't think that applies to the rank and file.
- Amazingly stupid decisions
- Management blatantly lies about company health and/or omits key data points on a regular basis. Raises several questions about ethics.
- No pay hikes or bonuses for most employees, regardless of performance
Advice to Senior Management – Simple stuff really: Fix the ADHD issues at the top - find a strategy/goal, plan for how it should be achieved, communicate it, execute it. Do not change the strategy/goal every week depending on your mood. The "headless chicken" routine is getting this company nowhere. The loss of your middle and senior management in the last year is proof enough.
