Advertising Operations (Current Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

    Pros- Team building lunches
    - Relaxed work environment
    - Flexible work hours
    - Ability to work from home
    - Great place to get your foot in the media/publications business

Cons- No job security due to poor financial status
    - Complete lack of transparency
    - There aren't any yearly employee reviews so you don't know how well or how poorly you're doing
    - Constant overturn
    - Managers who have been with the company for 10-20 years who are unwilling to adapt to change

Advice to Senior ManagementEven if the financial news is not good, share the news with your employees and discuss what actions are going to be taken to correct these issues. Empower your workforce and acknowledge their hard work, it's your employees and their dedication which will determine the outcome of your business!
