    Pros

Company serving in the field of environmental sustainability and biofuels.

    Cons

Office politics, Castism, low salary, biased on promoting employees, no growth opportunities, resistance to change, stagnant VP level executive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You got to start lay-offs of stagnant, under-performing, executive level employees. Pl look into office politics, companies reach nowhere when brahmins favor brahmins. Managers are sick and disgusting - mentally and physically harassing their subordinates. Change the rule that - if you dont stay in office after 5.45pm then you are not a dedicated employee. Pl ban eating gutkha within office premises, its seriously sickening.

    Pros

    Right people can bring 'Vision'
    'Right' people can bring Business
    Right people can bring Sustainability

    Cons

If you have right people as employess thn I do not see any Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1) Must realize that 'people do business with people' and not 'companies do business the companies'. Therefore you need to hire good people and kick away your old timers sitting in top management (a few of your vice presidents) who are mainly apple polishers
    2) Try to retain good people. Many your good people left in last few years because of your policies
    3) It is generally observed that you choose 'wrong' people who are neither loyal to company, nor do they produce any results, but somehow top managment (well there is only one "top" manager in this company) seem to like those 'wrong' people

An good place to start career but do not prolong your stay

    • Comp & Benefits
    • Work/Life Balance
    • Senior Management
    • Career Opportunities
Former Employee - Process Engineer  in  Pune (India)
Former Employee - Process Engineer in Pune (India)

    Pros

As a fresh chemical engineer it is good place to start. If placed in proper department you can get good exposure to basic engineering of distilleries and beer plants .

    Cons

Their are absolutely no opportunity to change from one department to another. The work gets repetitive and people end up doing same work in same department for years.
The salary increment is very small. One may feel the CTC is as per the industry standard ,but the take home pay is marginal.
The company is crowded and their is little scope for innovation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The senior management must look for the aggressive expansion besides distilleries and water treatment. Give sufficient time for the implemented changes to show their results. Recruit only if their is genuine requirement.
