    Pros

The people (residents), The Director (amazing).

    Cons

Unfortunately in this line of work there are always issues.

    Advice to Management

My advice is to share with your (diehard) employees and you know who they are... What is really going on.....some of them may think that you just don't care! So WHY should they.

  2. Interesting. Great people, great residents. Management please go away!

    Pros

Great staff, both upper and lower level management. Amazing residents, fun to work around.

    Cons

Corporate trying to micro manage from a distance. If you are not there, then let the administrator manage her/his own building.

    Advice to Management

Corporate Management... put less money into marketing and higher management and more money into quality caregivers. They are the ones doing all the hard work and if they are happy, residents are happy and marketing is an easy sell. Be the first rehab facility to hire extra CNAs to ensure their are enough caregivers for the residents.

    Pros

there are no pros to this company use people and toss them away as a plan of correction

    Cons

sketchy management, intervention for all problems is to replace people wrong

    Advice to Management

treat your help better and your nursing homes might be able to pass a survey without j tags

    Pros

    Great people to work with

    Cons

Nowhere near enough compensation for the level of responsibility. Nowhere near enough resources with respect to labor to accomplish goals.

    Advice to Management

As long as you expect something for nothing, the turnover will remain high.

    Pros

Central support;aka corporate stays out of your hair and are ok. Budget is ok.

    Cons

Pay is low, marketing efforts produce nothing for residents or building

    Advice to Management

One size fits all doesn't work. Reward buildings that are meeting goals.

    Pros

    Facilities are nicer than average.

    Cons

Upper management deceitful and condescending. They are very out of touch with the realities in their communities. Very low morale among facility staff across the board. Well meaning and interested employees are very poorly trained and stretched beyond reasonable limits.

    Advice to Management

You have really missed the boat .
. This is a business that deals with real people. Stop thinking in terms of numbers and focus on the quality of service that you claim to care about. Learn to value and respect your employees and residents. They are what you are about.

    Pros

Amazing residents, great coworkers, glorious autonomy one day per week.

    Cons

Turnover. I've never seen such blatant disregard for the needs of staff - namely PCAs and kitchen staff. They would literally go months without filling a shift and ask staff to work insane schedules (50-60 hours for a 32-hour job) to compensate for their apathy.

Management was insane. We went through an amazing number of administrative staff as our expectations changed on a whim - one day I'd be told to completely change a protocol, and the next I'd be asked why I'm not doing it the normal way. I'd post some of the absurd demands made, but they're so insane it'd be easy to identify the facility pretty quick. I loved working there at first, but as time went on, I found myself increasingly doing tasks I wasn't supposed to do or just fed up. I'm happy to be gone.

    Advice to Management

Address the turnover issue and apply consistent performance measures/requirements to ALL staff.

    Pros

The people you work with are very kind and helpful. They gave me the opportunity to use my skills and learn new ones as well. The company want to make sure things are being done correctly and they give the training to do so.

    Cons

There is a high turn over rate there, as far as loosing and gaining new employees for certain positions.

    Pros

I starting interviewing for a with Prestige Senior Living in December and the proses is quite tight. They really do a fantastic job at selecting new candidates to come and work with their professional team. Since the day I received the first interview call everyone I have been lucky enough to speak to and train with has been caring, kind, and truly care about their roll in senior advocacy.

    Cons

    None Noted at this time!

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work.
