    Pros

Price Chopper was always very flexible with working around other things, whether it be a second job, college or a planned vacation.

    Cons

This could have been because of the location of my store (a VERY small town), but there was not a lot of growth opportunity. They did however allow for cross training in different departments to get additional hours and be more likely to advance. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone as being their primary means of earning a living unless they can get a guaranteed full time position because hours are not always available. If you are willing to work though, they will do what they can for you. Overall I did enjoy my time there.

    Pros

It's a Good place to start out while in school and in college. A place to make some money to help with basic expenses.

    Cons

It's tough getting a full time position. Longer the part timers work, the more difficult it is to survive. Some have to take another job to get by.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your workers with some respect and work with them as a team.

    Pros

    It's a source of income

    Cons

The pay is low, the management has too high of expectations for something this crappy, no employee discount, and you get yelled at by managers for random stuff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase the length of break periods, allow employees to casually converse for a few minutes without yelling at them to keep busy, offer an employee discount of some kind, be more resourceful with food waste
