    Pros

The hours were flexible and the working environment was good. The management really can dictate your experience, and I was lucky enough to have good managers. They made my work day pleasant.

    Cons

If the team is unmotivated or uninterested in performing their jobs, that can really make it difficult to do yours. They don't always seem to advance the best people, and don't seem to be the best at having different levels of management nurture each other.

    Advice to Management

You have to work on supporting and training each other better. You treat the customers so well, and you should extend the same courtesy to one another.

    Pros

Worked hard, fun working environment. I learned a lot as an individual and had the best flexible anyone could ask for while going to college.

    Cons

Low pay. No payroll, no help, some of the employees all hate their jobs, and life. You work very hard and on the weekends, and holidays.

    Advice to Management

Please give more payroll, stop trying to make sales with no help. People get hurt more because of the lack of payroll.

    Pros

Family owned, fast pace, room for advancement, flexible hours to part-timers, great benefits, and competitive salaries.

    Cons

Need to find ways to continue to create more excitement in the stores for the employees.

    Advice to Management

Maybe start an employees discount program.

    Pros

Incredibly easy to get a part time job, hours cater to students well. Includes a benefits package for part-timers, after only a few months.

    Cons

Shoddy management, no corporate presence, rampant bullying in the workplace, ineffective Human Resources department, and no room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Address employee concerns with bullying and harassment instead of sweeping them under the rug, or encouraging bullying behavior. Address the limited growth opportunities at the store level, and remove managers who are consistently reprimanded, instead of giving them raises.

    Pros

New & largely clean stores; flexibility for low-availability teammates; fairly easy process to cross-train in other departments

    Cons

Near zero corporate presence in the store (with teammates); lacking even application of policy, little opportunity for advancement without a higher-up taking to you first; below industry average rates of pay (to part timers); dramatic gap between veteran part-timer & brand new low-management pay; inability to provide feedback geared at "continuous improvement" and actually see anything done toward it/hear any valid response; haphazardly updated systems; many sadly outdated systems

    Advice to Management

Welcome your employees differences, opinions, traditions, values, perspectives and dreams; challenge *teammates* to teach you something you don't know; as lovers of online training programs, design a test which measures business management aptitude and automatically flag those who seem like strong candidates; catch up with the 21st century in how you compensate your employees and what tools you make available to them for the increasingly larger demands passed through each level of management; learn about and implement Six Sigma &/or TQM to actually engage your workforce and increase profits collectively

    Pros

Awesome customers. Taught me a lot about working with customers and what I want in a job.

    Cons

Literally everything. Management and supervisors are some of the rudest people, I've ever came across. Most were on power trips and thought they had more power than they actually did. No communication between the higher ups and the "lower" people.

    Advice to Management

All employees should be treated fairly and communication goes a long ways. ALL employees should be taught the same rules, etc.

    Pros

You are guarunteed 40 hours a week for the most part you also get a bit of a raise from the average part time worker.

    Cons

More than likely you float around to different stores instead of having one home store. Your scheduling is determined on if anyone needs you that week or not so sometimes you might work a bit less. You also never know where you are going. The worst part is you do not get the same holiday benefits as a full time employee the ONLY difference between you and part time are the hours.

    Advice to Management

Offer full time packages or somewhat better deal to temps
