    Pros

Very easy to be hired, can learn easily, gain skills working with people, and there are many locations in certain areas.

    Cons

Mind-numbing work at lower levels, poor culture, poor website and shift scheduling functions. Don't expect to enjoy it.

Improve the flexibility of shift scheduling, encourage a better community between workers, update the employee website.

I worked at Price Chopper Supermarkets part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The rate of pay was good, the people were friendly and like a family and the job was easy and fulfilling.

    Cons

Irate customers sometimes, favoritism, management taking extra breaks whenever they wanted to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You need to value your workers a little bit more, but overall its a good place to work and just because you are in a manger position doesn't mean you get to slack.

    Pros

Very flexible hours and easy scheduling system.

    Cons

CSM was very scattered in her routine, operation, and management style.

I have been working at Price Chopper Supermarkets part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Awesome co-workers
Can be a fun job on a good day
Fairly laid-back depending on the day
    Fairly easy to get time-off
    Flexible scheduling

    Cons

    Inconsistent hours
    Sometimes there's workplace drama
Shift supervising roles don't pay more
There seems to be little benefit to being one of their more reliable workers

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When you allow yourself to get visible stressed out on a busy day or when corporate is visiting, it rubs off on your employees and the working environment is a lot less pleasant/more stressful. Also, some of your better employees (per my own judgment, of course) tend to get unmotivated when they see some of their lazier co-workers slacking off, getting away with it, and oftentimes getting just as many hours as them.

    Cons

Its easy to get a job there, so you work with people of little skill or motivation.
