I have been working at Priceline Pharmacy full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good atmosphere mostly, great products and it was great that the focus was on customer service. Flexible hours as it was a pharmacy.

    Cons

Difficult to work your way up, stressful due to catalogues being back to back, often understaffed or the staff are undertrained which pushes the major responsibilities on to a few people. Management team were flimsy, did not take anything seriously, too focussed on growth and sales.

  3. It's pretty alright.

    Former Intern - Retail Assistant
    Former Intern - Retail Assistant

I worked at Priceline Pharmacy as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

I only worked here for a week for work experience, so my experience here is quite limited.
    - The environment is pretty chill.
    - The manager in the store I was in was really helpful and friendly.
    - The other staff were mostly alright to work with, but then I wasn't there for very long.

    Cons

I was here as a retail assistant, so all I did was placing and organizing stock on shelves, and helping customers out. Obviously, this got a bit boring after a while.

I have been working at Priceline Pharmacy

    Pros

Pros – Learn about a wide range of suppliers and products and build networks in order to move to a better organisation.

    Cons

Cons – Reactive and not proactive. Don't look into the future what-so-ever. Gives very little to its employees. Poor HR dept. Slow moving Aussie company. Poor work/life balance. Too confident with Priceline brand. Poor long term future for Priceline in my opinion.

    I worked at Priceline Pharmacy

    Pros

It is a national corporate company where you are left to your own devices to manage and lead the store to success.

    Cons

Very little input from senior management so there are times when you were not sure if you were doing the right thing or not.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more open to other ideas, and treat employees with a little more respect. Could be more open and honest around human resources.
