    Pros

The company was still small, and had a family feel. Easy to get excited about the potential growth of the company. Interesting projects, with very engaging customers. I'm still in touch with people I worked with there, both customers and coworkers. Good social environment, with company pot luck celebrations and company events like the summer picnic.

    Cons

Wish the management I worked directly with had been more honest and up-front with me. Always felt a little left out of the conversation, even in areas that were directly related to my work. Company HQ move put them outside of comfortable commuting range for me.

    Pros

Easy and relax environment even though the customer was very demanding and difficult.

    Cons

Working at the clients site we didn't too much of a chance to meet other co-workers at other sites.

    Advice to Management

Plan and coordinate more gatherings and brown bags to bring all together.

  6. Gave PMs freedom to manage the contract as they see fit

    Pros

    - They want each contract to succeed and management wants to be involved.
    - Great educational reimbursement.
    - They usually create very talented project teams

    Cons

Kind of cut-throat when it comes to employment. I didn't see any cushion built in to overhead to keep employees on when contracts lapse. But that might not be true in all cases.

    Advice to Management

Help employees develop IDPs and then help them reach their goals.
