    Pros

The people in the office are very helpful and supportive. The staff has been very helpful at letting me know when I would have a shot at moving up in the organization.

    Cons

The location of the school is out in suburbia with nothing in walking distance. No good teleworking options that you would get with federal employment. No childcare

    Pros

-Embraces technology as a solution to growing educational needs
    -Great benefits
    -Friendly and well intentioned staff
    -Smart staff

    Cons

    -Too structured
-Too much bureaucracy, difficult to coordinate efforts
-Not very open to different ways of working (SCRUM/etc..)

    Advice to Management

Allow for more cross functional teams! Although a very defined management structure can be beneficial in certain situations, Loosening the reigns and allowing for a team based methodology like SCRUM would be very beneficial to completing projects in house, on time and under budget. Don't let people silo themselves with their titles! The ERP director is a great example of an adminstrator who leads good cross functional teams.
