I have been working at Printronix full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

there are no pros as all prosmises have been lies and even signed contracts have been misregarded. so you're cheated and betrayed in every case with this company.

    Cons

Management is not qualified to do its business - friendly, sometimes not friendly at all, but in every case incompetent

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not to the management, as that is highly incompetent, but to the OWNER as this VC-company could double the profit (not revenue, really profit!), so I'd recommend to sack all so-called but useless TOP-Management (every level ABOVE the lowest levels which are earning money - from engineers, admins, customer services to salespeople) like Oracle long time ago and restart real business and future earning again. 90% of those so-called higher levels at Printronix are absolutely useless and a huge, big hindrance to future success.

    Pros

Average Salary, Benefits, Profit sharing limited at best

    Cons

VERY OLD Technology, Refusal to move forward with new Trends, Nepotism at the top. Very rarely do you get a bonus.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a real management team together.

I worked at Printronix full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits and PTO was respectable. Not great, but better than nothing. It is difficult to come up with "pros". Printronix purchased TallyGenicom out of bankruptcy in 2009. Only a few of the of the TallyGenicom employees remain.

    Cons

The company has no future. They now own the Line Matrix printer technology, but more and more companies do not require print out of their financials like they used to. Printronix mainly purchased TallyGenicom to get their customer base.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management at Printronix doesn't listen to their employees, they take their cues from the true owners, a venture capitalist company. How about, Get out while you can.

    Pros

Those that do the work are wonderful. Great communication and everyone gets along
Salaries are great. If you have the right boss, recognition is good.
New location is close to everything

    Cons

They have gotten so slim on the work force that it is impossible to keep up with everything, yet they expect the same results.
Instead of laying off the dead weight at the top, they keep eliminating the ones that do the actual work at the bottom.
The company seems to be dying a slow death.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mgmt just doesn't seem to understand what they are doing everytime they let a person go that is helping to keep the company moving and holds so much knowledge. They are driving the company over a cliff.
