    Pros

Good company to work for, great atmosphere and friendly work environment. Lunch is catered the last work day of every month and the company has team building trips. Casual dress code and the managers are friendly, approachable, and open to new ideas. There is a young/modern vibe here! This is an exciting place to work!

    Cons

With the company growing so fast new people are constantly coming in and it can feel chaotic at times. But with any growing company it will settle.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Full benefits are offered as well as 401k. With the company expanding so fast there is tons of room for growth within the company. Management has PorSites headed in the right direction.

    Pros

Company has a passionate CEO who encourages involvement from others to make things happen. Culture is fun, with company provided meals at the end of every month, birthday celebrations and offsite events. The company is small enough to still promote and allow for creativity and rapid growth and strong enough financially to fund the growth. People are extremely friendly and the work is challenging.

    Cons

Entrepreneurial spirit sometimes creates the need for a quick change of direction and organization is still filling out it's management staff to handle the challenges of company growth. The integration of the two offices (CA and VT) is still a work in process. The Company is still figuring out the right mix of creativity and process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep moving down the path of growth. Support your employees but also challenge them to grow as well. Never lose the passion and entrepreneurial approach

    Pros

This company was purchased by private equity just a little over a year ago, and merged with another organization in the same industry located on the east coast. Both organizations were at the top of their game in providing internet marketing services to niche and targeted industries. The leadership in the organization has adopted an accountability model, where every employee has the opportunity to achieve results linked to the performance objectives or the organization. Growth and expansion couldn't be more prevalent, and is one of the reasons that high performers are attracted to join this team. ProSites is about creating an exhilarating environment, which can be defined as fast paced and dynamic. This would be a great opportunity for top performers..

    Cons

When ever you merge two organizations together there will be challenges, but these challenges can be resolved with quick and decisive decision making, and by building the right infrastructure that provides the greatest benefit to the employees and to the organization as a whole. Sometimes change affects people negatively when they aren't sure about the direction of the company, especially after an acquisition and then a merger; so ProSites needs to communicate often and with clarity; by maybe conducting frequent "all hands" meetings; whereby everyone can be kept abreast of the progress its making to integrate and become the best in the industry. When employees have answers it galvanizes the environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Evaluate compensation and benchmark wages so employees know exactly where they stand compared to similar roles in the industry. Create employee development plans to encourage growth and future opportunity. Manage by objective by generating a solid performance based system for each role the organization; where employees clearly understand how their role impacts the goals and objectives of the organization. Employees should know what it takes to be a valued contributor. Management should continue to reward top performers and provide opportunities for team building.

    Pros

CPA Site Solutions merged with ProSites and it used to have the feel that everybody was a team. If you wanted to learn a new web skill you had the time to do that and were encouraged to advance your skills.

    Cons

It's not worth it to work for ProSites or CPA Site Solutions. They're literally located on opposite ends of the country and ProSites is trying to phase CPA Site Solutions out without actually telling their employees. There is no accountability, no support for the team that deals directly with clients, and compensation is horrible. I comped salary for similar positions at other companies and employees are way underpaid. Opinions are not valued and even when asked for input it is blatantly ignored. The turnover for this company is extremely high considering how small the Vermont branch is. Being in the customer service role is horrible because clients scream and yell at you for issues that result through no fault of your own, but the company does not back up their employees or have a protocol for dealing with issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to hire new managers. There's a misunderstanding that being in a position of power means you know how to lead people when, in fact, leadership isn't something you can learn. The "people in charge" have no concept of how to run a company and are generally manipulative and use passive aggressive behavior to deal with employees' concerns and issues. In the future, it would be better if there was accountability for their actions. As it stands now managers can do whatever they want and change policies and procedures without having to run it through a higher power. There is a lot of unprofessional behavior that needs to be accounted for and has been brought up to HR, but HR refused to take action.

    Pros

This company hires people with little or no experience, which is great if you're trying to get started, but bad if you're ambitious and motivated. Its target employee is someone in the Inland Empire with a little education that doesn't want to venture to San Diego or LA for higher pay. Its a good place to begin, but a bad place to stay or move to.

    Cons

The philosophy at this company seems to be work the employee until they burnout. It's extremely political and gossipy. None of the upper management listens to employees, which causes chaos and dysfunction at all levels. They also like to push initiatives and updates with no testing, which causes everyone to be in a constant state of catch-up. Oh, and there's a weird trend where all the attractive females tend get promoted and pay raises but no one else seems to. If you're a female with a pretty smile, ample bosom, and long legs you'll do fine here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize the people that are valuable and try to keep them. The constant revolving door and turnover will make it hard for you to ever move forward. Constantly training new employees and new managers after the old ones get fired or leave costs you money, productivity, and innovation, which is probably why the software here is about 3-4 years behind the curve.

    Pros

Casual dress, free lunch at end of month,

    Cons

The key point when interviewing new hires is "room for growth" they like to dangle that carrot in the face of every hire in every department, because a select few of their sales reps make good money, the rest of the company earns very little. The environment is lax, great for company friendships and cliques- bad if you actually take your job seriously. Management is beyond lax, aside from the CEO and customer service dept. the managers don't seem to care- about anything!
And beware the office politics- you could be minding your own business and if the guy next to you wants to shove his religious jargon down your throat - it's A okay!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you don't care about your job why are you there? To ride Lance's coat tails? He deserves better.

    Pros

Prosites is a great growing company with a good corporate atmosphere. There is room for growth and overall thrives in its' industry

    Cons

Wages and benefits are fairly low compared to similar job titles found elsewhere, company is experiencing growing pains as they evolve into a larger company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This was one of the best places I had ever worked at, but is lacking on many levels as far as wages go. Consider raising monthly premiums slightly to new clients to cover slightly higher wages and invest in extensive training for stable future growth.

    Pros

great location in smaller city. Easy to travel back and forth to work. The clients were a pleasure to work with.

    Cons

management didn't value different departments equally creating a divided office environment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

begin implementing the 3 strikes you are out policy. Ignoring negative personalities/conflicts opens the door for excellent employees to search for other employment.
