I worked at Procter & Gamble

    Pros

Connections, so easy to communicate and reach out for help, a strong support network, valuable career connections that helped me later on.

    Cons

Disliked the non-technical nature of the position
Canadian MDO did not have much room for promotions.
The company culture at times felt "cultish". Like it was hard to be critical.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work out a better reward/recognition system for people's achievements given the limited room for promotion. An established system for sending people abroad would be interesting.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble

    Pros

The people here are the best I have ever worked with. Everyone is willing to help you out regardless of the the circumstances. Not at all cutthroat

    Cons

Corporate structure means that Canada controls little. A lot of work needs to go into before any analysis can be done

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have a more structured role training especially during onboarding with another employee so that assumptions and job requirements are clear

I have been working at Procter & Gamble

    Pros

First thing that comes to mind is the people. From the rigorous recruiting process to the tremendous personal & professional development offered, P&G really lives by its principles and values while creating a vibrant culture where like-minded individuals move businesses forward.

Second, P&G wants you to succeed! You will be lined up with a billion $ business, broadening cross-functional assignment and/or international opportunity if you prove to be a high-performing individual. The amount of responsibility is enormous. Where else can you run a multi-million dollar business (brand), with global resources at your disposal, all by yourself, straight out of undergrad at age 21?

Third, pay is completely based on performance - I got my first (very generous) raise only 6 months in on the job! Benefits are comprehensive and among the best in the country. Very fortunate to not have to compromise between personal/professional growth and compensation!

    Cons

A lot of processes and systems that sometimes prevent us from being the most nimble.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Thank you for bringing me in! Continue to keep your promise to your people.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble

    Pros

salary was extremely competitive, people were eager to do their part, brands were well recognized, training would set the bar and give you the knowledge you needed to take your career with the company to the next level, managment was great,

    Cons

culture was slightly cultish, to move up to higher levels within the head office you had to play the office political game.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

incorporate less office politics into your culture, everyone who works for this company is great. you need to give time to let each employee think outside of the box now and then

I have been working at Procter & Gamble

    Pros

All the promotion are made at the intern. You have international opportunities. You manage quickly big project. You can change of role each 3-4 year.

    Cons

It is not the best place to work for people that don`t like challenge or responsabilities. They are expecting you to be a good leader

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continu like that. I love my job and the culture in Procter and Gamble is amazing. I recommand that company to everyone.

I worked at Procter & Gamble

    Pros

    - Great people!
    - Lots of idea sharing
    - People are passionate

    Cons

    - Lack of work life balance
    - Lack of mentorship to all. Should be in place for everyone.
    - Too many processes!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Would have liked to see less talk about improving work life balance and more action.
    - There was always some process or another being updated or a new process being rolled out. I see that this was trying to make things easier, but in the end it just made us be constantly re-learning new processes, which took time and actually added complexity.
