I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Fast development of leadership skills, good place to learn new professional skills, good perks, relatively clear-cut career path for the marketing professional.

    Cons

A lot of work, large organization where the "right arm does not necessarily communicate well with the left arm", very young employee age average making it often hard to find someone more senior to look up to.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Simplify bureaucracy to minimize jumping through hoops for everything, take in less interns and keep more full time employees, decentralize training programs and use more external training sources (too many "internal training programs").

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I have worked at P&G for 14 years. Great people and culture, work/life balance, many opportunities to work across multiple categories and functions.

    Cons

Slow ship.. takes us a while to steer in a different direction because we are so big. Lots of transition and downsizing right now, but morale remains and I am so impressed with the integrity and care with which P&G treats their employees.
