    Pros

Smart people and great brands. A purpose that is highly motivating to employees. Strong people development.

    Cons

The constant reorganization and downsizing is unfortunately eating away at employee morale and hampering business growth.

    Advice to Management

Be selective about the people you lose via packages. Practical experience gained about consumers, customers etc. is invaluable and can't be compensated by young, inexperienced employees. Provide a clear vision that is focused on improving the lives of the world consumers and start being externally focused again.

    Pros

Great company values that extend throughout the entire organization. Top talent. Great brands.

    Cons

Too many processes, not enough acting. Old, sometimes out of touch and very slow to action.

    Advice to Management

Bring startups inside the office and encourage teams and leadership to think like a startup. If an idea is bad, don't invest. If you don't need 10 people to do a job, only hire 2. Make decision making easy, not complex hierarchical and painful. Commit and move on.

    Pros

There are a lot of smart people who are generous with their time and expertise. You can get a wide variety of opinions and learn a great deal from your peers, leaders, and subordinates.

    Cons

P&G seems to be facing a crisis of leadership. In many organizations there is little 'loyalty down,' the integrity of some leaders is suspect as they 'shade' any reporting of results, poor performance has led to an unhealthy cycle of leaders reverting to their old, lower level roles and micromanaging their teams rather than doing the work they should be doing but seem unable to (ie charting they strategic needs of the category and organization).

    Advice to Management

Serious, painful intervention will be required to get our leadership back on track. People who have not performed for years need to go vs giving packages to whoever raises their hand. We need more leaders who can deal with ambiguity and new situations vs running the Tide playbook from 25 years ago. Take a very hard line on all leaders who 'spin' the results - the culture this creates is cancerous and is eating away at the moral fiber and integrity of the company. Finally - stop nickel and diming employees. If we hire the best for the long term the erosion of the PST and degradation of heal benefits etc etc have sapped away much of the reason for people to feel they are part of something special and want to stay. For a relative pittance of savings you have fundamentally changed the relationship the company has with employees.

    Pros

A stable company with consistent results throughout the years. The products are all great quality and the integrity of the company is unparalleled. Lots of opportunity for variety in careers because of the portfolio of brands. The market research function has pockets of visionary exploration that has potential to deliver breakthrough results.

    Cons

The company hasn't fully adjusted to the new global, digitally driven environment. The business models are based on historical success and need to be rethought in order to ensure future success. Overall company leadership has potential to take the company into the next century. However, Market Research management needs to determine how to find a successful model for support and internal consulting that makes the employees feel valued and move the business forward.

    Pros

None other than pay is good

    Cons

Company use to be place where you started and planned to work for life. People there tell stories of their parents and aunts or other family members who started there and worked there 40-50 years. Now you get past a few years and you are looking behind you to see who is going to cut your position or area or outsource you.

    Pros

There are a lot of talented people working for the company. Sadly, a lot of these talented people are choosing to leave.

    Cons

No longer best in class for benefits. Not a promote within culture even though they say that they are. Employee morale is very low and management doesn't seem to be listening.
Stay away from this company! They are simply no longer best in class.

    Advice to Management

Promote within and ensure new managers have the training needed to manage others successfully.
