Pros
Flexible hours
Great managers
positive working enviroment
Cons
No opportunity for advancement
too much point of purchase material and papers sent to house
Outsourcing
Advice to Senior Management
Less time spent on data entry and more time focusing up against what is important. Out of stocks, displays and zoning.
Pros
Fantastic company and huge opportunities. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here and the knowledge I've gained! Think you'll struggle to find another company that spends so much on training and development - its awesome. Location is great too - being in Newcastle but on a London salary helps alot! Promote from within strategy is true - you really will not be shunned for some high performing exec - everyone starts at the bottom and determination gets you places!
Cons
Recognition is very poor for anyone below band 3, they get Star bonus'es and cars, where everyone else gets nothing! Very slow to adopt technology - change is difficult to implement, and mindset won't be changed!
Pros
Great people - P&G truly hires the best
Weekly meetings with direct manager to discuss progress and receive feedback
FLEXIBILITY
Cons
It is expected for salaried employees to work more than 8 hrs, but the job benefits, pay and people makes it worth it
Advice to Senior Management
Keep it up!
Pros
Opportunities for personal and professional growth, consistent feedback, Open-door policy, team atmosphere. Team off-sites were routine and helped to building lasting relationships. Work was engaging and customer team was an exciting place to work.
Cons
Business processes were slow to adapt. Work and Development Plans were often left to the last minute and fleshed out as the year progressed. No clear path for promotion between Admin/Tech role and manager role.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more concise with the Work and Development plan process. Establish clear guidelines to communicate expectations for transitioning to management with A&T's that desire to take the next step in their careers. Otherwise, great company, great culture, and good job!!
Pros
2 Days Work From Home
Cons
If you don't work smart enough, you will have longer working hours.
Pros
Learning, great trainings, regular salary increase, 13th salary
Cons
Lack of confidence in top management, you have to be ready to relocate whenever and wherever Company would like to if you want to grow, uncertain surroundings
Pros
recognized company
pay not too shabby
Cons
politics could rival the white house or congress
Advice to Senior Management
company's in trouble - dont sugarcoat
Pros
great benefits, retirement and health. could improve dental and vision though
Cons
poor training, need better training programs.
Advice to Senior Management
improve communication
Pros
Challenge is constant
Work life Balance is always searched
Excelent Benefits
Cons
Low Productivity. Therefore, they are not hiring Full Time Positions.
Some people have been there for years and they are not good but the company is afraid to fire them.
Advice to Senior Management
One of the principles is that the best people should remain at P&G. However, this is not happening in Mexico. Some TMCs are not good but they are rewarded by sending them to another country. This is very disappointing for the people who are really good at their work.
Pros
Leadership, salaries, performance a good reputation. It is a good company to fill your CV with, it is a well known company in terms of marketing and operations
Cons
Many hours of work, sometimes more than 12 daily. If workin in plant its highly probable having to go to work during the night shift or at 6 AM
Advice to Senior Management
Be more flexible with timings to get in and out job. Do things simpler than currently they are, less rules would help leading a plant better.
