it offers flexible, independent roles
Cons
1300 hrs maximum part-time, no full time opportunities for retail merchandisers.

more flexibility in working more than 1300 hours maximum part-time.
Pros
P&G is a Marketing person's dream to work for. High challenge competetive environment. You are given on the job training constantly.
Cons
Not for people who don't want to contribute long long hours. High stress. The company engulfs your life. Most of the people working there are alpha types, which creates a very competitive company culture.
Advice to Senior Management
P&G could benefit from more work life balance. Other than that, I think the company is doing well beyond its competitors

P&G truely values it's people and invests in their people. It is a promote from within company.

P&G is HUGE. It takes a lot of approvals to get anything done.

Procter & Gamble is a highly respected company and puts a lot of resources into its interns. They expect you to work hard.
Cons
The locations are not the best. Gillete is the only brand in a reasonable location. Most jobs are in Cincinnati.

Continue to hire talent from within. Several capable and knowledgeable internal candidates get overlooked. Can be discouraging and damper morale and productivity.

Shift work is all over the place. Management doesn't care how it effects the hourlys. Only 3 sick days and you can get written up if you use them.
