I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Extremely good trainings; you can easily get along with everybody as the majority are quite young and positevely ambitious; salary growth is quite rapid; career path is generally planned for a long period ahead.
In general, the company is far ahead of the majority of competitors in terms of business processess and practices.

    Cons

You may feel a bit of conservation while working there; the promotion is not always given to those who probably deserves it most but generally the rules are clear. Work / life balance is not always the case but if you are eager for work you will get the reward

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Values, people, business processes are at great level. There are a lot of responsibility you have from early stages of your career. That is great.

    Cons

I see no cons in working on this company despite my desire was to become a soccer player. However if there were more sport activities in the company I would be more satisfied.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Pros –
    1. Nice starting salary
    2. Global projects
    3. Nice people
    4. Some work-life balance, work arrangements flexibility
    5. Adequate management (generally)

    Cons

    Cons –
    1. Huge inertion due to company size
    2. Cost-saving program that is currently realized
    3. Productivity pressure - people start to get overworked
    4. Shrinking importance of service functions - will cause problems in the future
    5. Management hypocrisy, as in all corporations (e.g. awesome new Flex @ work program, when in reality there is not much behind it). Generally tend to present things as if they were much more than they really are.

I have been working at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They invest a lot into people development. Good people work there. The process of carrier development is very transparent, so you know what you will achieve depending on your efforts/talants.

    Cons

Slow business desicion process, too many alignments are needed. People management is possible averagely after 5 years of work.

People who are told everyday that they are stars, often become just stupid and fighting mediocrities

Former Employee - Unit Manager  in  Moscow (Russia)
Former Employee - Unit Manager in Moscow (Russia)

I worked at Procter & Gamble full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

It has been a very nice company to work for - 10 years ago. Moscow office is a comfortable place to work. Some guys are real talents - but quite a few ones.

    Cons

I would say, people. Many of them now are quite uncapable of logical thinking and don't have a common sense - or at least have very different one from mine. I don't know a single person who is happy to work for P&G Russia now - the ones working are doing it because they are use to. Climate is often awful. Stupidity is covered by a size of business, and partners either use it, or stand it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get down you, high flying birds! In half of cases you have no idea what is happening in real. Take time to talk to experienced band 1-2 managers. Ask them. Or don't - because you will not like what you hear.

    Negative Outlook
