    I worked at Professional Compounding Centers of America full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    The people and higher ups are a pleasure to work with. Opportunities to become involved in culture committees and events during business hours, creating a sense of family.

    Cons

    Extremely low pay, the slowest hiring process I have ever witnessed. Extremely slow hiring process. Job titles could use some improvement.

    I have been working at Professional Compounding Centers of America full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Great job security
    - Being a part of a company that is actually doing good for society by providing pharmaceutical alternatives through compounding ingredients.
    -Very friendly atmosphere
    -Great work/personal life balance - I never take my work home with me.

    Cons

    -Limited advancement opportunities, especially if you are in any of the following departments: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production Planning, Operations as a whole
    -Salary compensation for aforementioned departments is in the bottom 5% of comparable jobs in Texas
    -Company is not willing to invest in long-term, quality employees and is instead content with offering low salaries, which result in high turnover rates in the aforementioned departments.
    - Disconnect between upper management and business-side departments and operations departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Reduce number of pack sizes for 90% of slower selling items to free up warehouse space and reduce inventory carrying costs.
    -Higher additional production personnel immediately
    -Salary raises across the board - you can't hire college graduates at $35k anymore.
    -Bridge the gap between the perceived reality "upstairs" and the actual reality "downstairs" aka operations.
    -Create more advancement opportunities. PCCA has a fantastic process in place to drive talent out of the company and retain staff members that are mediocre at best.
