Current Employee – been working at Professional Security Consultants full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – They are not picky they hire anyone willing to work
Cons – SEVERE lack of appreciation to long term employees,no matter how long you're with Professional Security Consutants there is no graditude, bennefits are none exiistant, no pay raises or overtime if you stay over to help in a pinch they reward you by making you go home early there is no retirement plan I give Professional Security Consultants a 5 out of 100 with 1 being disatisfied.
Advice to Senior Management – Give long term employees prase. Give retirement benefits annual raises would be nice. The more years the more benefits 3 weeks vacation after 5 years instead of 1 like you just started off the street.

Pros – Its biggest client is Westfield Malls, so it's a great opportunity to work in mall security. Medical and dental benefits available. More secure and stable than most private security firms. Does not require much experience.
Cons – Big disconnect between corporate and operations level. Constant turnover. Low pay.
Advice to Senior Management – Random drug and alcohol testing.

Current Employee – been working at Professional Security Consultants full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Easy Job for regular floor officers
Cons – Its all politics
No raises for some promotions (Don't Understand That!)
Most employees are not positive
Supervisors, ASDs and Directors don't get paid enough for the amount of work that has to be done and politics that have to be dealt with on a daily basis.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop promoting people you like. Most of them are idiots. See who really is working hard and knows what they are doing. Also, stop trying to get everyone in trouble all the time. Let people know when they do something right. All I hear is complaints about employees. Not very positive atmosphere.

Pros – PSC is fast moving company that always is looking to improve and expand. The client is the most important person at PSC and PSC bends over backward to satisfy them. If you have something to contribute, you will asked to help.
As long as you can understand the big picture of how PSC operates, on a client satisfaction and client restrained budget, it can be a satisfying place to work.
Cons – PSC does it's best for its employees in the field, but often is subjected to "cut-throat" bidding by its competitors. This leaves a very narrow profit margin and benefits and incentives for field employees. It seems as if PSC at times is being "not caring" to the field, but they are only managing what the client wants to give. Tough economic times dictates the business.
PSC is an Israeli owned and managed company. Those that adapt and learn often do well. Those that do not adapt and expect the company to change for them will be unhappy.
Advice to Senior Management – Always to your best to maintain serious and loyal employees.

Pros – PSC is a quickly growing company, and seems to bring in a decent revenue. They seem to give people who are not college educated a chance to grow, promote, and succeed, but it could be up to a decade or so before that even happens.
Cons – Management is lacking in professionalism, fairness, and friendliness. They play favorites, and give their own Israeli people more promotions, raises, and recognition than a regular employee. Many in the corporate office forms cliques and will speak in their own language, thus alienating other employees in the office.
Management does not respect its employees, nor does it treat everyone fairly and equally. They pick and choose the people to give paid holidays, sick days, and other benefits to. I was told after several months there that I would be given more responsibility and that they would cross-train me on different projects. That never happened.
Management were at times condescending and even downright rude. All in all not a good place to work. The 1 year I was there at the Corporate office, they were unable to keep anyone they hired around the same time.
Advice to Senior Management – Treat all employees fairly and equally when it coms to promotions and benefits. Management's attitude can be downright rude and condescending towards some of its employees. Have an ALL English policy in the office and include everyone!! Finally, put more effort into employee retention and development.

Pros – There once was a time when PCS was at the top of thier game. Then the owner Moshe went hands off and disappeared. The company went downhill fast. He failed to foster the early relationships that lead him to growth and most of the clients left. They still have a few decent clients but they pay horribly. There really aren't any pros to working for PSC.
Cons – Disconnected management that doesn't focus on client satisfaction or employee retention. The benefits are horrible. They offer a package, if you ask, but you pay 100%. The backend support is also horrible and no one seems to knows their left hand from their right. Payroll got better but a few years ago it wasn't uncommon to have pay check issues on every check.
Their pay is way off from what others offer for similar positions. I think it's because they accept low budget contracts and it's a passdown affect.
Tough to understand at times. They hire mostly Isreali people to manage and their style is extremely course. They need to also understand it is very rude to speak Isreali among other non-Isreali's.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop berating your employees like they are soliders on the Gaza strip. Beyond that, good luck. Since your company has been going downhill the last 10 years you'll need it.

Pros – Excellent security teaching. You get the best of the U.S and Israeli security managers who came from secret service and navy seals as your teachers. Quick advancement if you are ready to work for it.
Cons – Need to be available at all times for emergency.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep on the good work! The way you treat me and the other security guards as family make us want to help in making p.s.c even a bigger and better company.

Current Employee – been working at Professional Security Consultants
Pros – Some of the best reasons about working for PSC would be the realization of self-worth, medical; Dental; and Eye benefits are a plus, and an occasional high priority deployment of grand stature is fun.
Cons – Some of the downsides are that here is not a lot of respect from senior management, always too busy to listen to any concerns or ideas one may have. Their Mission statement is wonderfully written, but hardly exercised.
Advice to Senior Management – Advice I would give back to senior management would be first, to live up to their name in respects to being "Professional" and then act as a "Consultant" and not as an 8th grade level pimple pusher. Management believes they are ready for high school, but they are more ready to repeat the 8th grade. Should they wisely choose to slow down and actually smell the coffee, they must pay attention that time around.
