    Ruthless, disorganized and stupid

Not Sales (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

    ConsNo promotions or raises
No leadership (just new performance targets)
No HR department, no internal communications
    Noisy, crowded office
No clue what people actually do
    Etc.
Can't say too much or I'd reveal my identity

Advice to Senior ManagementMake yourselves redundant.

    Chamchagiri Company

    Manager (Former Employee) Hyderābād (India)

    ProsSalary in time
    Work life balance
New technologies and processes - if you are energetic, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Cons'Chamchagiri' company where under performers will get promotions, hikes and awards for gossiping and time passing in canteen.
    30% attrition rate.
'Govt company' environment for managers who will just pass away their time till the company closes. Won't get job anywhere else.
    HR dept knows nothing.
    Finance dept knows nothing.
UK totally depends on Hyd, and treats employees like It's British Raj in connivance with traitorous management who look after their own selfish financial needs.
Financial misappropriation in crores, happened twice where first obscured and then finally, COO was fired.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe upfront and honest to employees. Treat long time employees well.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Do not waste your time

Sales Executive (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsGreat atmosphere, I guess I was lucky to be in a great team. It is a great place to kick-start your career in sales, to cut your teeth on, but don't bother staying too long. Money can be great if you are ready to give up 8/9 hours of your day to lead-source outside of work hours.

ConsHigh turnover, highly KPIs-focused, no career progression, Money is not good at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop treating staff like robots, pay more.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Dirty office, marxist leadership, short-term vision and profit obsessed.

Sales Executive (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsQuite compassionate when it comes to personal affairs. Accept you need time off but only when you are earning the company good money.

ConsEmployees are the equivalent of battery hens. Expect sweat shop conditions, back smacking, clicking in your ears and indirect insults. Unrealistic expectations placed on staff. Uncomfortable and unethical environment.

Do not work here if you want a career

Digital Account Manager (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

    ProsFun environment
No need to buy suits because everyone is under dressed
    Leave early on Fridays

    ConsNo editorial integrity
    Too much micro-management
    Very unprofessional
    SSP paid for sick days
Only 20 days holiday, 3 of which are taken over xmas
Staff are encouraged to miss-sell and lie to clients
Targets are out of line with business units and unrealistic
    Staff undervalued
    Very poor staff retention rate
    Health & Safety is ignored
    Offices are dirty
Sales roles are all glorified tele-sales roles

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove the serves offering to customers. Focus on developing a good product instead of ripping off other companies

    Bad Business!!

Digital Sales Executive (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

    Pros- Good commission structure
    - Fun incentives

    Cons- Dirty offices
    - Unethical business practices
    - Sweat shop environment / long work hours
    - Stressful work environment, continuous micro management
    - Staff undervalued
    - No room for internal promotion or growth
    - No kitchen facilities (If you want coffee/tea, purchase from company canteen)

Advice to Senior ManagementDownsize your sales force, sack the slackers, employ professionals on better salaries and treat your employees like human beings and not robots. You will be surprised by the results. Company products (digital magazines/websites) need to deliver results. Put some money behind marketing your products! Employees are encouraged to misrepresent, grab the money and run! This is wholly unethical and not something you would expect from a company of this size. Open up a kitchen facility so that your employees can make their own tea/coffee. Bring in professional cleaners as the offices are filthy. Carpeting looks like its not been cleaned in 20 years.

You'll get work experience but few stay longer than one year

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

    Pros+ Employs recent graduates
+ Young company with social activities

Cons- Little or no opportunities to be promoted
    - Money focused company, do not invest in their employees
    - Hierarchical
    - Low salary (no annual reviews or opportunities for an salary increase)
    - No work / life balance (expect employees to work 12 hours each day without any benefits)
    - Teams understaffed in some departments
    - Say that they encourage creativity but everything comes from top managers. What they say you have to do.

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in your employees, it will benefit the company in the long run. If an employee care about the company for which they work for they will perform better and stay in the company longer than one year. This way they will develop their internal knowledge and also be able to help develop the company further.

    Ok place to start work

Sales Executive (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsCommission based work means you develop a strong work ethic and an eye for sales. Some very effective sales people around who are good to learn from.

ConsPretty awful sales environment. Very aggressive and focussed on KPIs. Senior staff can be very aggressive if you're not meeting your KPIs. Environment can change from pleasant to unpleasant very quickly indeed!

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure that everything you force your employees to do is honest!
