    Pros

An excellent company to cut one's teeth, if you work hard and if you prove yourself you get to take on lots of responsibility quickly.

Great location. If you're lucky enough to visit the top floor it has amazing views of the Thames.

    Cons

For non-sales staff, Salary is not competative and no effort is made to retain talent.

When I worked there, the company provided the absolute minimim for its staff - no kitchen facilities (access to mirowave or hot water), staff had to pay to use cutlery etc

The floor I worked on had a depressing work environment. No natural light, broken furniture and very old computers. This coupled with the long hours (required to meet the ever changing objectives) made working in the London office for longer than a few months painfull.

    Pros

Good if you want to grow your understanding of a specific market and the hard sell.

    Cons

-rewarded well on new business, upon renewal of clients commissions are awarded at 3%.You are expected to manage these account also for very little reward 900$ for a 30k client.
-Highly KPI' 2hrs on the phone (reminded of this constantly by negative emails from management)
-NB 8% at 100% of target
    - High margin sale- its all online no overheads apart from bums in seats, and "highly qualified researchers in Hydrabad"
    - data regularly comes under speculation from clients.
    -Renewals rates are low
    -Low basic
    - High staff turnover
-no room for progression- narrow management structure
    -Monotonous work

    Pros

Half decent remuneration structure. Central location in London.

    Cons

Bunch of complete idiots who don't have a clue what they're doing.

    Advice to Management

A manager should be chosen for their ability to manage, not the length of time they've served or number of sales they've made.

    Pros

easy access due the walking distance from blackfriars station

    Cons

Boiler room sort of sale. pretty daunting at first before one gets a hang on things. Annoying laddish environment with immature managers. Targets gets pulled out of thin air. Random changes within the team. Huge lac of respect for employees & an acceptable bullying culture

    Advice to Management

Whatever advice given it won't change a thing. Everyone there has been brain washed. Grow up

  11. Get into the "Old Company Clique" or run for it.

    Pros

Develops the "you're on your own with no budget resourcefulness skill set". Whilst it sucks during the hardship, once you get out to a decent company you may weirdly appreciate some of this which will rub off on you eventually.

    Cons

Company treats people like a commodity. If you're in Sales and have the right cut throat attitude you will do well and be looked after. If you were part of the old data monitor clique you also will do well unless you royally mess up and don't have a sacrificial lamb to hand when the "proverbial hits". If you don't fit into these categories look elsewhere unless you're desperate for work.

    Advice to Management

There is an irony in putting anything here as fundamentally senior management simply don't engage the tactical staff unless something monumentally goes wrong which forces them to mix with the lowly peons.
