    Positive Outlook

I worked at Project One (New York) as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a contract consulting company. From the day they recruited me until the contract ended, they were available to answer my questions and address my concerns. My account manager and the vice-president were always available within a half-day callback.

    Cons

The insurance benefit has a 3-month waiting period. Perhaps immediate coverage is available only to monster-sized businesses. At the time of this writing, I think they have fewer than 100.

    Advice to Management

More contact with the account, for a more accurate finer on their pulse. A bit more reading between the lines in client meetings.

  2. Reputable Contracting Company

I have been working at Project One (New York) as a contractor

    Pros

Reputable and professional firm. They pay on time.

    Cons

They do not keep in touch with their client that often. I have been working for them for over five months now and have only heard from them two or three times.

    Advice to Management

Partner with a payroll company, such as ADP, so paystubs, W-2 information, W-4 changes, etc. can be done online. This would save the company a lot of money in mailing this information. Reach out to your contractors more.
