Pros
Your information is dated, Hank Rush no longer runs the company and there are few good reasons I could give to join the organization.
PropertyInfo has changed as it merged with another part of the Stewart organization. Most of the development is done using an agile software process. Many of the people that work in the trenches are very high quality individuals and the overall team of developers, q/a's and project managers are top notch.
Cons
Unreasonable expectations, inconsistent priorities, throwing the process out of the window, laying off a team of people that just worked 60+ hours a week for 3 months to complete a project to "save the company".
Management communication from the executives is non-existent.
Advice to Senior Management
Learn to think proactively. Don't spend millions of dollars on consulting and then cut your entire staff at the end of the year trying to pinch pennies.
Pros
Learn a lot about title insurance.
Cons
The management was very poor. The company needs to focus on it customers and actively seek feedback from them.
Advice to Senior Management
Learn about technology and use it give the company an competitive advantage instead focusing on politics. Under-performers need to find other positions instead of letting the company lose money. Efficiency and productivity should be more important when running a business.
