    Great place to work at.

    Platform Analyst (Former Employee)
    Parsippany, NJ

ProsFriendly & effective management, pleasant work environment, exposure to many web-based technologies.

ConsNothing, but make sure to be self-driven and take initiatives as work requires a bit learning and hacking problems (which in my case was a pro).

Advice to Senior ManagementSlight more transparency (as the company is private) may reassure the employees better of their current and future prospects.

Ok, but making it up as they go along

    Product Development (Former Employee)
    Parsippany, NJ

Pros- Ok, work environment with some talented people there. Office was "quiet" though, lacked atmosphere
    - Underlying platform has a lot of potential
    - People good to work with
    - Hired some good "professional" people as I was leaving - should bring more method to their product development and implementation efforts, it was a bit "on the fly". Note:- Believe it did so but gone off the rails again(just from conversation with ex-colleague who also left but keeps in touch)

Cons- Owner and senior management are told what they want to hear. Very dangerous
    - Need to realize that more business knowledge is required - technically-focused company, maybe should stay that way
    - Answer is "yes" to all customer or sales queries. Bit pathetic, we were building ad-hoc and in a manic manner. Couldn't locate correct source some of the time

Advice to Senior ManagementTake stock of where you really are, the demos we built are not products

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Great platform and equally great people behind the development of the platform.

    Senior Applications Engineer (Current Employee)
    Parsippany, NJ

ProsRelaxed environment, social yet productive atmosphere. Plenty to learn and good handle on technology.

ConsExternal management consultants can help a great deal in refining some of the rough edges around the way business is conducted.

Advice to Senior ManagementCould work harder on retaining/acquiring talent.

Good for start up kind of environment. Not career path

    Platform Analyst (Former Employee)
    Parsippany, NJ

ProsNice travel perks. Opportunity to learn Niche technology. Client access and hands on project for fairly lengthy time. Optimum pay especially when starting out. Some opportunity to shine.

ConsThere can be frequent employee turnover. Work can be unevenly distributed among employees. The nature of the work can be a drag sometimes. Need to put more excitement and invest in employee benefits and development.

Advice to Senior ManagementMore hands on towards some of the projects they lead. Better process management system. More support form senior people towards junior employee development. Better process for employee evaluation and compensation.

ConsCompensation not great, Management weak. Very short term oriented.

    Avoid at all costs!

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsSmall company with some very smart engineers and a great product.

ConsSenior management incompetence and lack of planning, limited to no recognition of marketplace requirements and sales process.

Advice to Senior ManagementGo someplace else and put the company out of your misery!

Chaotic small company, don't know how they are making money

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThere are some good people. The technology isn't bad.

ConsBad upper management which seems quite absent. There were lots of unreliable people that I had to work with (always promise, but hardly ever deliver). There was hardly any communication of upper management about company strategy, product roadmap, organizational changes etc.

Advice to Senior ManagementCommunication, communication, communication.

Great for recent college graduates, not good for career growth

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThis is a great place for recent college graduates as you get thrown onto projects right away and learn "on the job". The travel perks are nice as you can earn plenty of hotel points and frequent flyer miles.

ConsThe downside is that management does not know how to foster growth with its own employees. Existing managers have poor management skills, making it difficult to work at full capacity and thus stunting career growth.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrain managers on management skills (senior management included).

    Bad management, no support

    Senior Solution Engineer (Former Employee)

ProsGood product, some excellent technical people.

ConsThere is almost no communication from upper management about the company strategy, the product roadmap, release schedule etc. Few trainings. Bad upper management. Very difficult to get support when needed because many people always promise but never deliver.

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove communication to employees about company strategy, product roadmap, new releases etc. Provide more trainings.
