I worked at Providence Health System (Washington DC) full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Worse than hell , still surviving in Washington, DC

    Cons

It kills more people than saving them. Very ignorant and unprofessional physicians, unethical medical practices, hub of evil politics in the name of international employees, ghetto and untrained nurses, horrible administration, dumb leadership

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

open your eyes and consider recruiting new physicians, nurses and techs.

I have been working at Providence Health System (Washington DC) full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Providence stays true with its mission, serving the underserved populations in Washington DC.
Many opportunities to get moved up if you hang on for a few more years.

    Cons

Not the most up-to-date/ organized/structured hospital definitely. A lot of the older doctors at this hospital think they are God/Jesus and pay little attention to other disciplines. Due to lack of resources, I had learned to do everything by myself, which I can say is a CON for me personally.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People in the upper management seem to have little vision as to what Providence should be doing to get improved. They throw in tones of money in renovating the units while buying a crappy electronic medical record system that is UN-user-friendly.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
