I have been working at Prysm full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great positive work environment. Everyone is serious about the work but it is often in a very positive, open and fun environment. Good laughs in meetings really loosens people up. Even the CEO & CTO can be funny. Some super smart and likable people. CEO is a natural entrepreneur and challenges his people with the right questions. An amazing technology. Strong potential product.

    Cons

Its a complicated product and bugs to work out. A technical challenge with a handful of people that really understand how it works. A couple of people that don't fall in line with the program and don't work well with others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep bringing in the funding. Keep doing what you are doing. Document the brain trust.

    Pros

Positive Environment. Great people. Spectacular product. Dynamic, growth oriented. Makes smart decisions about how to best use limited resources. Open, good communication with all employees. Strong work ethic but not insane.

    Cons

Like many small companies, working to deploy scalable processes. Location a difficult commute for many.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Prysm full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

this place has one of the best groups of people i have ever worked with. and they all are there to work together. culture wise, the place is great. it does not matter if you have a PH.d or no college education, you are treated the same by all. and most importantly, it is run(as in how it is setup with HR/Benefits and IT and the tools put in place) like a billion dollar company that has yet to make revenue targets, not a bootstrap startup.

    Cons

like any startup, staying disciplined while you chase revenue is hard. opportunities have to be measured against profit, and there is still much craziness as we just try to chase revenue.

    Positive Outlook
