I have been working at Pseg full-time for less than a year
Pros – There are so many extraordinary aspects to working at PSEG. 1st and foremost its an organization that values its human capital (employees). Everyone that I encounter has been at PSEG 15, 20, 30, 40 and 45 years. Great benefits excellent career development and opportunity to within the organization. My position has a 10% bonus structure as well as 3 weeks paid vacation some positions have Flexible hours, summer hours. Its like a dream!!!!!
Cons – The baby boomers are set in their ways and not very technologically advanced. A bit rigid but efforts are being made to create more flexibility with this generation.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep of the stellar work with being the paragon of success in the industry setting the bar so high other utilities can't match. Keep attracting employees like myself who are innovative, smart and eager to add value to the organization. Thank you for a job well done!!!!
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Pseg full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Great place to learn about the business landscape in a variety of fields. Executive management is committed to attract young talent to work in the company.
Cons – Company is in constant transition now due to things like more regulations, green initiatives, etc. so its not a great place to go 25+ years, but definitely a place to get experience.
Advice to Senior Management – Never loose sight of what has made PSEG a great place to work all these years.

I have been working at Pseg full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Company has a great reputation. I am proud to work for PSEG. We have a good bonus program, and PSEG offers the opportunity to choose varying career directions.
Cons – Many PSEG positions (especially field positions) require employees to be on call; this can be disruptive to work-life balance. Currently the market for electricity is on a down turn so revenues are reduced.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep communicating a positive yet realistic outlook to employees.
