Pros

THere is a lot of opportunity to be involved in many projects and gain skills and experience. Depending on who your supervisor is you will be allowed to grow and thrive.

Cons

Administration can be very one sided and catty. When they refer to a "team" they are referring specifically to their goals and desires, not the benefit of the residents or the staff. THere is a lot of politics and you need to have a very thick skin (to deal with administration).

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to the staff and care givers, they do understand what is needed for the safety of the residents and staff. Do not expect them to make your life easier, even if it is in your best interest to make their work interesting and increase thier investment and loyalty. Be honest and compassionate.
