Will make a good living but you'll have to work storm duty.

ProsThe company feels very much like a family. You won't make millions working for PSNH, but you'll make a good living at one of the states largest employers.

ConsBeing a highly regulated industry and therefore, company, that work ethic can tend to roll downhill. By this I mean, hard work and sticking your neck out isn't always the best strategy to get to the top.

Advice to Senior ManagementNothing specific. Pretty good company to work for.

Abundant careers in a company of long and successful history

    Meter Reader (Current Employee)

ProsAdvancement in the company is endless and the opportunity to relocate to a few other states is also available if desired. Benefits paid out stem all the way down to staying in shape, working safe, exceeding goals and simple efforts in everyday work life that most times are not recognized in other companies. Technology is always competitive and chaning.

ConsPublic relations can be overwhelming. Jobs seem to be more abundant in certain company locations which makes it a little harder to find the job you want. This is not really a downside but it is common for employees to have over 40 years in the company and it may have an affect on the growth in innovation or the subject of change in the utilities industry.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep focus on employee capital development. Overhaul A/R department. Create more employee incentives based on goal setting.
