I have been working at Public Utilities Board full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good benefits to cater for families. Salary is on par and is very competitive.

    Cons

Work can be routine especially if you are on shift. Better progression for office hour staff usually because of the level of interaction with technical contractors.

    Pros

For someone who wants to settle in Singapore, a good job where one can continue for life. A lot of employees have been working here for over 40 years. Offers good variety of roles to play on the different aspects of water sector. Good work life balance.

    Cons

Some preference to Singaporeans which is quite natural, with PUB being a government agency

I have been working at Public Utilities Board full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good benefits, promotes work life balance

    Cons

Politics~ plenty of them between scholars and high fliers, often sandwiching technical staffs with their mind games...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should focus on serving the public as a piblic servant and stop the silly mind games and politics, cherish your staffs to minimise turnover
