Pros

Positive colleagues and work environment. People are friendly and laid back.
You will never get rich but lots of opportunities to work in different departments, learn French, etc.
There are often opportunities to go to various professional development workshops and bosses are happy to give you time off to go for them.

Cons

You will never be rich.
Because it is government, things move very slowly.
You have to be careful not to be favouring certain companies so it takes a long time to do anything because it has to be an open process.
That's all i can think to write so type type type.
