I have been working at Publicis Touchpoint Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company has great benefits. They immediately give you 2 weeks paid vacation as well as immediate 401K contribution. I've worked with all great people and the flexibility of the job is great.

    Cons

The downside is being a contracted employee but you need to think about that before you accept a job. Being unsure about employment into the next year is hard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Renew the contracts earlier in the year instead of waiting until the last minute.

I have been working at Publicis Touchpoint Solutions as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Good work-life balance; hire good talent; care about their contract-employees and customers
    Very good pay
    Very good benefits

    Cons

Disconnect between field-based employees and larger organization
Too much control placed in the hands of single individuals leading to lack of share of voice

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Move VPs out of the field and let NPD lead the field teams; NPDs/RMs should hire and lead teams. VPs should hire an NPD, relinquish control, and step out.

I worked at Publicis Touchpoint Solutions as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Close to many restaurants for lunch
    Breakfast on Fridays

    Cons

No advancement. I worked there as a contract employee for over a year. I was overqualified for the position they put me in, and there was no advancement to become permanent. I was utilized in many departments. They hired a numbnut who didn't have the skills, education or training for the position. As a temp, I did all the work she couldn't figure out on her own.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Place temps in permanent positions, especially if you hire them back, after being laid off.
    Listen to the employees concerns.

I have been working at Publicis Touchpoint Solutions as a contractor for more than 5 years

    Pros

Contract longevity is generally very good.

    Cons

Underpaid as compared to other contracts in the industry. No sense of loyalty to employee.. everything is all about the parent company. Example: tried to transfer to another part of the country due to spouse relocation, even on the same project and was deliberately blocked from doing so. Company would rather a five year successful rep quit and go work for another company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Company values are completely lacking.

    Pros

Work, life, balance is great! Compared to working directly for a big pharma company, the work is less stressful.

    Cons

I can't think of any right now. It's a temporary position, so take it for what it is.
