Good place to work, but not perfect.

ProsDespite the fact that it owns many businesses, it allows them to maintain culture. As long as you have a good cultural fit in your placement, you still get all of the scale benefits of being part of a large, european group.

ConsIt takes a long time to get anything that impacts more than one company approved. Also, you are required to use internal partners for projects (IT) that are usually competency-challenged.

Advice to Senior ManagementMoving in the right direction with online media focus, but need to let the groups manage to the lifecycle of the products.

Supposedly the 'flagship' of the U.S. Publicis presence, but lacking in flagship accounts, scale, and 'buzz'.

ProsGreat people - supportive leadership. Relatively consistent leadership at the top (CEO, Creative, Strategy) despite some churn at the President leve.

ConsA bit adrift in the industry - spinning off Modem from headquarters seemed a bit misguided, given clients' stated need for a truly integrated offering.

Advice to Senior ManagementProve that the Modem/Publicis offering is truly integrated, and that you operate as one unified company. Stake out and win a client that will bring the shop some buzz.

ProsAn amazing culture that promotes personal and professional growth.

ConsThey're really aren't any, but I guess it all depends on your team, your position, and your client.

Advice to Senior ManagementBetter pay and advancement... open communication as it relates to performance and personal improvement areas.

Good people, good work, good times.

ProsAs an intern we were given real work and the intern project kept us super busy. It was a great learning experience and got a chance to meet and work with great people.

ConsAlthough I worked on a real account, I wish I had been able to float around to other accounts and help wherever needed rather than just wait for work on my one account.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave the creative interns float around and do work on any and all accounts whenever available. More experience, and more interesting for everyone.
