    Great atmosphere, little room for grow

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Port Washington, NY

    ProsGreat family atmosphere and good benefits. Strong company, competitive salary.
    Very talented people.

    ConsThe company is hiring a lot of interns, down the road you'll find that one of those interns will be supervising your job.

    You'll also find that some managers have outdated skills, therefore, they will hold their position forever and you will not have any room to grow.

    Some managers play favorites, and those favorites are the ones who get all the promotions and cool projects, while you may be stuck doing the same things over and over again.

    Advice to Senior ManagementGive people the chance to work on a variety of projects.

    Great atmosphere, but bad management cancels it out

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) New York, NY

    Pros* Great benefits
    * Wonderful people
    * Excellent work/life balance
    * Flexible hours

    Cons* Minimal (if at all) upward mobility
    * Management has lost the ability to think and act
    * Meetings, meetings, and more meetings
    * Misallocated resources
    * Unwilling to take risks or adapt
    * Unrealistic fiscal expectations

    Advice to Senior ManagementYour core audience is dying. Literally. Pouring on more of then same emails/ads/tv promos is not going to magically garner in the younger crowd.

    Allow people to champion ideas from below and pitch them to senior management. The financial outlook will be sunnier (and less fictional).

    You get the good with the bad!

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsCo-workers are really intelligent and great people that know how to get the job done, Always someone around to ask a question or bounce ideas off of, Learn a lot on the job reagrdless of postion/level in the company, Fun work environment particularly on the digital side of the business.

    ConsExecutive Level Management is not keyed into what is going on in the day to day of the company, Sometimes unrealistic time expectations without necessary support, Doesn't value the employee and their opinion or feedback in making decisions, Top -down approach to communication rather than 360 approach, Lack of assessment/accountability at the top levels of the company.

    Advice to Senior ManagementValue your people more, encourage feedback and take a long look at things you may be doing wrong.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Port Washington, NY

    Advice to Senior ManagementCompany owned by family members that do not get involved. Wake up and check out what's happening in your company.

    A friendly, comfortable place to work.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Port Washington, NY

    ProsEmployees are treated well and with respect. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There is no hesitation in praising work that is well done.

    ConsDue to large layoffs last year, the company seems short-handed. They seem interested in depending on interns and temps to make up for it rather than hiring the necessary people full-time.
    Port Washington is an inconvenient location.

    Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
