    Pros

    My co-workers were the best. We were like a family with one common goal in mind...Our Students!

    Cons

    The Insurance Premiums are too high for teachers!

    The raises you get every year. Working to feed kids that need food.

    Cons

    Managers unorganized and confused. No employee support. don't get paid on snowadays, summer, holidays.

    Advice to Management

    Get behind the employees that work hard for you. Instead of covering up problems that make you look bad.

    I have been working at Pulaski County Special School District as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I worked on computers I got to not only use my knowledge, but learned new thingsas well. I got to work on different computers and software I worked with a lot of good people, on different projects

    Cons

    Had a paper sign in at the main office, and hard to do when i had to go to different schools around the city.

    Pros

    Great pay with Flexible hours and a Relaxed atmosphere. The option to bid on routes is open twice a year.

    Cons

    The Student behavior is a challenge at times. The school staff can be difficult to deal with at times

    The school culture, changing leadership, and meager compensation makes this a work environment to be considered carefully especially if you're only here for the children.

    You don't have to work everyday, so if you need something temporary while you look for other positions, this would be a good fit if you have a degree

    Paid every other Friday. Very Large District. Great Professional Development Opportunities

    Under the regulation of state for desegregation law suit. Lower pay than surrounding districts.

    Advice to Management

    Teachers need higher pay!
