    Pros

Big universal bank, plenty of opportunities to learn every aspect of banking, opportunities to work from most corners of India.

    Cons

Promotion process is not very objective, and connections and networking is more important than your performance at the work place.

    Advice to Management

Objectivity in promotion process must be built if the institution has to be a world class one.

    Pros

Training at PNB is one of the best in banks in India. You will get a good exposure if you can show that you can work in credit or forex.

    Cons

High pressure and some times you are forced to compromise on your values. the work life balance is absolutely worst and you will spend atleast 12 hours at work if you are in credit and above scale 2.

    Advice to Management

Kindly improve the pay and benefits structure as most of us younger guys are leaving for greener pastures. Kindly improve on the work conditions and committee for reviews.

    Pros

    1] Good learning Experience
    2] Friendly Environment
    3] Job security

    Cons

    1] No Work Life Balance
2] Huge torture from senior manager is a part of daily routine
3] Highly understaffed branches. All officers in the branch need to slog at least 12-13 hours to go home for dinner.

    Advice to Management

Be professional. Look at other government organizations like SBI, BOB. Even employees are treated so badly so one can consider what the external customers will have to face
