The Company is constantly trying to come up with ways to ease the stress and work demands on employees.

    Cons

There are only so many qualified professionals in this world, and like all large firms, there are a good number of people that just don't get it.

    Pros

A great opportunity to work for an industry-leading company that services Fortune 500 companies, and to receive the experience required to build your future successful career. The company offers a flexible career progression model based on teamwork, collaboration, excellence and diversity.

    Cons

The experience also includes work under a constant pressure to meet tight deadlines, managing multi-tasking assignments on daily basis, very long hours, no life/work balance.

    Advice to Management

As any corporation of this size, PwC also involves a lot of political games behind the scene, this situation may discourage some talented people, who don’t possess necessary qualities to play those games; therefore my advice is to create an environment, where such talents would be promoted regardless any circumstances.

    Pros

Possibility of upward movement in the company, friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

Unclear who to go to when seeking help or advice, ambiguous hierarchy.

    Advice to Management

Giving more clear-cut avenues to access other with questions could be helpful.

    Pros

There are a lot of great career opportunities and learning opportunities at PwC. There are opportunities to travel within the US and internationally.

    Cons

There was always a fire to put out, which led to poor work life balance even though this was an area where the company was trying to improve. There is no compensation for overtime and it is expected that you will spend considerable time at home finishing up your work.

  11. Okay place to work as an assurance associate, some pros, some cons.

    Pros

PwC provides for career advancement within a relatively short amount of time. Assurance associates are given progressively challenging work throughout the year as well as year over year. PwC is a good place to launch your career, as having a Big 4 firm on your resume will give way to a lot of opportunities should you decide to leave. PwC offers a competitive compensation package as well.

    Cons

At times, PwC can suffer from poor employee morale, strained by continuously increasing workloads. The competitive culture at PwC often has people blaming other's for their mistakes to save themselves, usually because management focuses on who caused a problem rather than focusing on how to get past it.
