Pros – Lots of room to grow at PwC if you produce good work and have decent social skills. The benefits are pretty good.
Cons – Expectations are so ridiculously high. You're expected to spend most of your day working and to make work your first priority (even over family sometimes...)
Advice to Senior Management – Make your family your first priority and then lead by example. Work life balance will never improve at PwC unless management leads by example. It all starts at the top.

I have been working at PwC
Pros – Growth and development are taken very seriously. Opportunities are made available to those who are high performers and are proactive about their career. The people I work with are wicked smart, yet are fantastic team players. The group I work in are great about work-life balance.
Cons – I wasn't too impressed with the compensation increases this year, especially after a year with no compensation increase. But it's not a deal breaker.
Advice to Senior Management – I think PwC management is doing a fine job. I'd like to see them continue efforts to build a culture of "one firm."

I have been working at PwC
Pros – 1. Tremendous brand name in market,
2. Great place to get experience with diverse set of clients
3. Size of the firm makes it possible to network far and wide
4. Opportunity to work with some of the most competent people in the industry
Cons – 1. Pay is not upto par with market, especially for Consulting and IT professionals
2. Company is stingy with payment of annual bonus
3. Company extracts every last drop of work from employees, including late nights and weekends however refuses to pay overtime wages.
4. HR and administrative policies are mired in red tape, making it difficult for operations management to make quick decisions
Advice to Senior Management – 1. Please discard the one-size-fits-all approach. The Advisory / consulting business is a whole different beast from Assurance / Tax
2. Revise pay-scales to match competitors, not just among other Big 4 but also other employers in general. In particular pay close attention to over time pay.
3. Hire more competent HR professionals

Great place to launch your career.
Cons – Long hours.
The Feedback process is not that great.
Advice to Senior Management – Management should focus on creating a convinient environment for minorities. It is more difficult for minorities to succeed.

I have been working at PwC
Pros – Some of the best reasons would be the pay, the brand and the prestige. Other than that...nothing
Cons – The long hours, no life, they demand their intrusion into your personal life. Working weekends, no pay raises, little to no promotion of diversity initiatives
Advice to Senior Management – Focus on promoting your brands to others that don't think and look like you. In addition, take the time out to think about your employees and what's best for them and not what's best for our projects and our brand.
